Water Excursion to Campbell Rhododendron Gardens 1/2L and 1/2KL

In HSIE and Science, students in Stage 1 have been developing understandings of the properties and importance of water in our world and the art of taking care of the local environment and waterways. To enrich this unit of work, Stage 1 teachers have coordinated with The Environmental Education Team at Blue Mountains City Council and have organised an exciting field trip to learn all about water at the Blackheath Rhododendron Gardens. This excursion is fully funded by Council so there will be no cost to the school. Please refer attached note for further details.

Stage 2 Bathurst Excursion

Stage 2 are traveling to Bathurst to visit the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum and the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery. At both locations students will participate in interactive workshops. This excursion supports learning outcomes in our science, history and art units of study. Please refer attached note for further details.

Stage 3 Adaptations Incursion

Adaptations is a hands-on Stage 3 incursion that explores the structural and behavioural adaptations of our amazing Australian animals. Students will explore the natural environments in their school looking for clues of animal adaptations and will gain new knowledge as they make inferences from their observations. Ticket Sales Open for Festival of Choral Music

Opera House Box Office

Tickets for the FOCM ‘Barangaroo’ concert will go on sale on Wednesday July 2nd through the Opera House Box Office; Adults $46, Student/Concession $39. The concert series often sells out very quickly, sometimes within hours of opening. To avoid disappointment be prepared to book from 9:00 am on the morning that bookings open and be certain of your school’s concert name and date. Ticket prices are $46 full price and $39 for concessions, with a limit of THREE TICKETS per booking. Students who are performing in the concert will NOT require a ticket.
