Our school will be celebrating NAIDOC week with two special events next week, as well as activities in classes.
The first special event is our NAIDOC assembly on Monday 26th June from 11:30am. Our assembly will be centred around this year’s theme: For Our Elders. The school community is welcome to attend. Students are to wear school uniform.
Our other special event will be some exciting rotational activities on Friday, 30th June for all students K - 6. Students are encouraged to bring a gold coin with money raised going to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. Friday will be a mufti day. Students can wear red, black, yellow, blue, green and white to represent the Aboriginal Flag and the Torres Strait Islander Flag colours.
Happy NAIDOC week!
