Stage 1 Travel Bugs Incursion

On Thursday, November 7, Stage 1 will be having an exciting science incursion featuring large, live, colourful mini-beasts! This will enhance their learning in our Term 4 science unit, Schoolyard Safari. The incursion will be hosted by Travelbugs Mobile Mini-beasts. The students will learn about various mini-beasts and invertebrate animals, as well as their habitats, life cycles, behaviours and why they are so important in our environment. This incursion will be held in the Hall at our school. It will have a hands-on component, where the students will have an opportunity to handle various harmless live and preserved mini-beast specimens. All activities will be supervised throughout by both the teachers and presenters from Travelbugs Mobile Mini-beasts.
