Autism Week

In the last week of this term, we will hold our biennial Autism Awareness Week. This will be our third Autism week at BPS in which we hope to, again, educate the entire community about autism and the impact it has on the lives of those students (and adults) who are on the autism spectrum.

Friday is our Mufti day in support of Autism Awareness Week. We have decided that there won't be a specific colour to wear, as previously advised. Rather, children can wear whatever colour they choose. Perhaps a colour that they love or a colour that makes them feel good, etc. In this way, we can end the week on a high with a visual representation of the diversity of all of us in our school community. Please don't forget the gold coin donation which helps to purchase resources for all of our students with neurodiverse needs.
